Real Estate Services...
The
Florida Real Estate License Law identifies eight real estate-related
activities referred to as real estate services that require
a Florida real estate license. Real estate services include
any real estate activity involving compensation for performing
the service for another. Anyone who performs any of the real
estate services for another person for compensation of any type
must be licensed, unless specifically exempted by law. Compensation
is defined as anything of value or a valuable consideration,
directly or indirectly paid, promised, or expected to be paid
or received.
To
remember the eight services of real estate, the memory crutch
(mnemonic) acronym A BAR SALE may be used, with the first letter
of each service forming the memory aid.
